I really like this book too. It's the single most practical & detailed HPM drug resource I know of, and use all the time. My own copy of it keeps on disappearing too, damn fellows.

As another former recipient of your dog-eared copy, I second your post. I later bought a copy myself and will likely buy the second edition. I found this book helpful especially in a hospice setting as it tells alternate routes of med administration and helpful for referencing when giving talks.

Thanks Christian for #1 lending me your dogged eared copy and then getting me one for future reference. I like the way the book combines groups of medications that perform similar functions, then compares and contrast them and at the end, the bottom line,; gives you the real price difference. Hopefully, this is a comment to your blog because it is my first, but not the last. You will have to show me how to chose an identity below so i don't have to be anonymous.

Thanks for this, Christian. You convinced me to buy a copy. I found it a little difficult to find though. For others who might be interested in getting the AAHPM discount, login to your Member Account and then go to the "Members Only" page. On that page, go to the section "Publisher Discounts" and then click on the link to Palliativedrugs.com. From there, it's easy.
